Reader need before search demand

London SAM chooses subjects because they help frozen-dessert readers understand, choose, store or taste—not because a phrase has traffic potential. We do not split one answer into thin pages, generate city pages without local evidence, or preserve a URL merely to keep a page count high.

Evidence and original contribution

Important factual claims should use current official, primary or peer-reviewed sources where suitable. A source list is not enough by itself. Each editorial page also needs an independent contribution, such as a decision matrix, evidence ladder, annotated diagram, worked example or functioning tool.

Fact, inference and preference

Pages distinguish a declared fact from an observation, and an observation from a possible explanation. “This serving has sharp crystals” can be recorded directly. “The freezer was mismanaged” requires more evidence. “I dislike the texture” is a valid preference, not a universal defect.

First-hand evidence

Visits, interviews, tastings, photographs and tests are described as first-hand only when there is a record of who did the work, when, under what conditions and with what limitations. No undocumented experience is added to create authority.

Dietary and safety-sensitive material

General culinary explanation cannot determine individual safety. Pages dealing materially with allergy, intolerance, coeliac disease or other health decisions remain outside the index until claims are supported and an appropriately qualified reviewer has genuinely reviewed them where needed. A disclaimer cannot repair weak evidence.

Names, dates and changes

An organisational byline is not presented as a person. Named authors or reviewers appear only with their consent and verifiable relationship to the topic. A publication or update date changes only when the content changes substantively. Material corrections follow the corrections policy.

AI and production tools

AI may assist drafting, code, audits and pattern detection. We disclose material use, check cited claims against the linked source, remove template repetition and require accountable human review before indexation. We do not claim content is entirely human-written when that would be false.

Commercial separation

This package contains no advertising, affiliate links, sponsored rankings or paid recommendations. If commercial relationships are introduced, they must be identified near the affected material, must not purchase a conclusion, and must never outweigh publisher content.

Page decision

Pages can be passed, held, merged or rejected. Held and rejected material is not included in the sitemap and does not carry advertising. Site growth is a consequence of adequate evidence, not a quota.
